Una Pizzeria e Bar is a laid back and popular restaurant and pizzeria in Trondheim. We have a capacity of 180 guests inside and 130 guests outside. We are a restaurant with high pace whereas we can serve about 1000 guests on a Saturday.

Frati Group Career

The main focus of the restaurant is to have the perfect Italian pizza, and multiple delights such as pasta, meat and fish dishes. Our concept is plain and tasty dishes in grounded surroundings.
The guest who comes to Una expects food made by Italian ingredients, served in a rustic way. The ambience in the restaurant is energetic and positive and the interior is rough and urban.
The ambiance is spread both from our chefs in the open kitchen, our smiling waiters and the enthusiastic guests. We seek to keep the Italian culture in the restaurant.
The kitchen staff is today build-up by mostly Italians whereas the waiter staff has a multicultural combination. The kitchen is open every day from 11 am till 11 pm, Sundays from 1 pm till 10 pm.

Due to covid-19 restrictions the restaurant is less busy and less crowded.

Information about the position: We are looking for five fulltime positions. One as pasta chef, two for the starter section and one grill section. The everyday tasks will include preparing the fresh dishes from the a la carte menu and following the HACCP-system requirements.

Requirements: The applicant must have well-documented relevant experience as pasta/starter/grill chef. You should have at least two years of work experience as pasta / grill  chef. You must also be service minded, structured and tidy. In the kitchen, you can count on hectic days and should enjoy high speed.

Wages Chef de partie

approx. 27.000 NOK gross pr. Month (~2450 EURO), depending on experience and qualifications. You are paid by the hour and the work hours by month can vary between 150-160 hours.

-1 Pizzaiolo Chef

We are looking for three fulltime pizza chef The everyday tasks will include preparing the fresh dishes from the a la carte menu and following the HACCP-system requirements

You will be working in a high energy and dynamic environment, so you should handle stress well and enjoy working with a high tempo. If you are a pizzaiolo with a positive attitude who will contribute positively to our staff and work environment, then you are the person for the job.

– 1 SOUS CHEF

Information about the position: We are looking for one full time permanent position as Sous Chef at Frati.
You will be responsible for quality control and production of food and the kitchen staff. The nature of the work will be a combination of daytime and evening/weekends. And a combination of working in service (cooking line) and leading the other chef.
Our sous chef must enjoy cooking, be a positive person and be a fair and structured leader. We also value «leading by example» and presence from our leaders are important.

General tasks of the sous chef for Frati

• preparing food from the a la carte menu
• following the HACCP-system requirements
• training of new staff
• follow-up conversations with staff
• order of goods and food
• storage control and inventory
• help to keep our food concept and develop the menu
• assure a good collaboration with general manger, floor manager
• assure a good collaboration between the pizzeria and kitchen

Requirements:

The applicant must have a chef certificate and well-documented relevant experience with leadership. You should also attach relevant references to your CV and application.

Personal requirements: You must also be service minded, structured and tidy. In the kitchen, you can count on hectic days and should enjoy high speed. You should be a positive person and not be afraid to smile. Our restaurant has a flat hierarchy and you should enjoy motivating the kitchen staff to not only do their best at work, but also be good co-workers and lead by example. You should be a people-person that care about your staff.

Required language skill is English. You must both feel confident in talking in English and comprehend English documents.

Wages Sous chef

NOK 34 000 – 38 000 NOK gross pr. Month (~3800-4300 EURO), depending on experience and qualifications. You are paid by the hour and the work hours by month can vary between 150-170 hours.

Benefit

Housing: The employer can assist in housing. Candidate will pay a maximum of 6000 NOK per month.

Contract type: fulltime, shift. First the candidate is given a 3 month contract with possibility for a permanent contract.

Other information: The restaurant is located in the centre of Trondheim with short walking distance to all facilities.
