As Chef with Hilton Copenhagen Airport, you are responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest experience while consistently contributing to departmental targets.
What will I be doing?
The Chef is responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest experience. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Prepare and present high quality dishes to exceed guest expectations
Banqueting, buffet and a la carte service at high volumes
Educate apprentices and work closely with other departments with the ambition to exceed guest expectations
Actively take part in the team development iand contribute to a positive work environment
Report any potential maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues to the Executive Chef
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation
Awareness departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
Experienced working with a la carte and/or Buffet Service
A culinary qualification from an Hospitality School will be an advantage
Positive attitude and high flexibility
Good communication skills and direct guest service experience
Ability to work well and have fun even when the service is busy
English at conversational level is required, any knowledge of Scandinavian languages is an advantage
