We are seeking a talented Bar Manager to join our team at our Italian gourmet Bar/Restaurant that will open in the beginning of June 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our bar operation, including creating and implementing drink menus, managing inventory and costs, and training and supervising bar staff.
Responsibilities:
– Creating and implementing drink menus that reflect the restaurant’s Italian past and modern.
-Managing inventory and costs to ensure profitability and minimize waste.
-Hiring, training, and supervising bar staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
-Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and equipment.
-Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and drinks and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
-Collaborating with the kitchen and restaurant management teams to create a cohesive and enjoyable dining experience for our guests.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Bar Manager, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting.
-Extensive knowledge of Italian wines, spirits, and cocktails, as well as their appropriate pairing with bar food.
– Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff to deliver exceptional service.
– Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on achieving business objectives and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
– Fluent in Italian and English.
