CHEF PASTRY – CRUISE SHIP-ONBOARD

Contract: Italian, renewable fixed-term contract
Level: Manager
Salary: 4000,00 gross/month + bonus
Job Description:
Responsible for the production of the whole pastry line on board of the ship. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that everything is prepared according to Company and USPH standards.
He/She reports directly to the Executive Chef, manages a team of at least 10 people and also deals with the training and continuous improvement of the team’s skills.
Requirements:
Requested experience in the field of pastry with 5+ years experience as head of a high-level brigade
Strong knowledge of all pastry techniques, tools and supplies
English level B2 or higher
Italian a plus
USPH and/or HACCP certified
Must possess a valid passport
Third language is a plus
BST (Basic Safety Training) is a plus

CHEF DE PARTIE PASTRY – CRUISE SHIP/ONBOARD

Salary: 4000,00€ gross/month
Job Description:
Is responsible for all dessert production as indicated in the menu plan, recipes and methods and as assigned by the supervisor in order to ensure that production is efficient and no waste occurs, in accordance with Company procedures.
Reports to the Pastry Chef.
Requirements:
Specific course in pastry-making or at least 2 year experience in pastry laboratory
Knowledge of Galley functioning and structure, including team organization, health, hygiene, food waste management
English level B2 or higher
Italian knowledge is an advantage
USPH and/or HACCP certified
Must possess a valid passport
BST (Basic Safety Training) is a plus
