Head Chef & Sous Chef job-opportunities in Norway.
Jamie Oliver’s world famous concept, Jamie’s Italian, is opening a brand new restaurant at Aker Brygge, Oslo, and we are now searching for our new Head Chef and Sous Chef. The restaurant will be serving up to 170 guests indoors and 180 guests outdoors, in a sunny location right by the sea.
Our new Head chef will be in charge of the opening and the running of the kitchen and the kitchen team, in close cooperation with the general manager and the Sous chef.
Job description Head Chef
Establish and train a professional team of chefs
Implementing concept and routines, in accordance with Jamie’s Italian’s guidelines, HACCP, and legislation
Cooperate with the rest of the management on economic and operational tasks
Managing the kitchen team on a daily basis, in close cooperation with the Sous chef and the general manager
In charge of administrative tasks such as ordering and stocking of foods, schedules, managing staff, routines, documentation and inspections
Qualifications Head Chef

Enthusiastic and passionate about food and customer satisfaction
Good communication skills and the ability to lead others
The ability to build and train an excellent, professional team
Extensive experience from similar position(s)
Quality- and business oriented
Fluent in English, oral and written
Job description Sous Chef

Cooperate with Head Chef and leading the kitchen team in absence of the Head Chef
Performing administrative tasks in absence of the Head Chef
Playing a key role in the kitchen team
Qualifications Sous Chef

Enthusiastic and passionate about food and customer satisfaction
Good communication skills and the ability to lead others
Extensive experience from similar position(s)
Quality and business oriented
Fluent in English, oral and written
